Have to create some questions to research on separation of church & state but the topic is so broad any idea's?

For school I had to choose a topic then come up with questions about the topic to research for answers, but the topic separation of church and state is so broad, most of the research brings up religion and baning prayer and info on national prayer day. What is something that would catch your eye on this topic?...lol or maybe I should change my topic lol....

Why was the separation of church and state written into the First Amendment of the Constitution? You could start by reading the Wikipedia article on the history of the separation of church and state.

there is many things to debate in this topic. for example, the recognition of the Vatican in Rome. They have legitimate power in the state where as any christian church here in the US do not have any equivalent governing powers. So a question you may ask could %26quot;What are the vary degrees of religious governance in the world?%26quot;

I assume this is a grade school sort of research assignment. You can keep your facts to the point. It is very broad. That means more information for you. If you want to go into specifics, you can try looking up specific workings of various religions in their states.

%26quot;Do countries in the world today, accept and carry out the orders of their lead churches or mosques or significant institutions of worship.?%26quot; or how, what, where, why
I suggest you peruse separation of church and state under www.law.cornell.edu. There are many questions you can glean from this site, and you will ascertain that only the courts have any %26quot;power%26quot; to legally address this issue.
