If there should be a debate tonight, would you want the topic changed?

The scheduled topic was foreign policy. Do you think they should

a. officially change it to economy, even though the bailout is still up in the air and many things unknown, it%26#039;s what people are concerned about right now.

Or

b. stick to foreign policy and not talk about the economy until a later debate.

Or

c. have this debate count as a foreign policy debate, but allow the candidates to talk freely about the economy every time they can%26#039;t answer a foreign policy question.

Which of these debates would you want to see? |||Obama has already said that our standing in the world is related to our stability and power as an economy, so I think both candidates will work %26quot;economy%26quot; answers in, regardless of the questions.

Have we been too reserved dealing with Russia regarding the events in Georgia? Yes, Jim. We need to engage Russia economically as a means of helping to influence their behavior militarily.

And to you, Senator, what is your evaluation of the political situation in Ecuador? Well, Jim, since our economy relies on oil from South America to help us keep our trucks and cars moving and keep our economy growing....

You get the drift.|||To quote Bill Clinton, It%26#039;s all about the economy...|||I think you may be right, who gives a care about foreign policy when we are right now falling into a economoic nightmare. |||This is a moderated debate, so--if they have the time to change the subject to the economy and this bailout process, THIS is what needs to be debated right now. However, I doubt that this will be done, as both candidates have been totally %26quot;programmed%26quot; to debate foreign policy.|||no, I like to hear what they have to say.|||A. And the only questions should be %26quot;Why should people who work hard, pay their bills on time, and realize that they can%26#039;t afford to buy a home so they don%26#039;t, why do they have to pay for the mortgages of the people that want to live beyond their means, and how much longer would they have to do so under your presidency? Will the working class continue to be trampled on under your regime? Do you consider poor to middle-class Americans that don%26#039;t live beyond their means to be suckers when apparently paying bills is now optional?%26quot;
