my teacher wants me to write a scary storie for class. we need to fidn 1 that would be good to use, scary not gory and not coppied from a movie or other storie. if its a good idea ill change the topic aroudn so itll be ok. but try not to use movie and book ideas thxs all!

You can come around from a different perspective. Maybe something like a detective story and then in the end, the bad person was his housekeeper or something like that. You can also try to write a ghost story.

A used car salesman is shocked to open the trunk of a car he's trying to sell and finds a body inside. When he recoils in shock everyone wonders what is wrong, as there is no body in the car. You can make it stretch out over a few days with the body only in one car and it turns out someone was killed in it or he sees them in all of the cars and one of his salespeople is a killer and/or it's all in his mind. Try to play up the thriller part and suspense more than the gory dead bodies in the trunk. Don't use children; that will strike the wrong chord in the classroom. Popular ideas in media always point to someone doing and/or seeing horrendous things and it turns out it's all in their mind.
