What are liberals so afraid of?
Just because you can%26#039;t be proven right doesn%26#039;t mean that you can%26#039;t still bring out the wrongs in your oponent%26#039;s statements (not lifestyle, background, etc.). And how can you tell me that someone that is brave enough to go against the conservative/safe/popular opinion is afraid? The whole point is giving a voice to a topic that didn%26#039;t have one.
And speaking of dismatling debates, I noticed that you had no evidence to support any of your statements. I can%26#039;t even say that your paragraph is filled with fallacies, because it is only filled with YOUR OPINION. Try taking a polisci class or a debate class, then make arguments that you can support.

I never said that you were uneducated, just that you didn%26#039;t use your knowledge to make your statements into convicing arguments. I didn%26#039;t mean to evade the topic, knowing that both sides use these tactics... and I didn%26#039;t assume to be the voice of the whole liberal party.... just that of my own. ;)

Conservatives do it too. It%26#039;s easier to call somebody names than listen to their argument and rebut it.
We Liberals are afraid of nothing. We%26#039;re not afraid of terrorists, we%26#039;re not afraid to leave the house with out a gun and we%26#039;re certainly not afraid of having a republican Congress or President after the next two election cycles.

Since I have no political affiliation(hate %26#039;em all), I can share an observation that there seems to be SO many conservatives going off on liberals, but not many liberals going off on conservatives. They seem to be arguing with themselves. Also, if these young conservatives are drinking the Kool-Aid, then why aren%26#039;t they enlisted and fighting in Iraq, instead of sitting in front of a computer and yelling at no one in particular. Just an observation

It was insulting to those who are actually trying to make it. I know them and have seen them. These are the people I work with to find ways to get decent employment and keep it. Then you agree with the person who made a generalizing statement about people and welfare. Want to give me an opinion, I will politely disagree. Make a derogatory statement or slur; expect to get one back....
I have often presented arguments on this site to the conservative republicans, and I have never gotten an intelligent response from them. The only answer I ever get is that I hate America, I love terrorist, I%26#039;m uneducated (have a master%26#039;s degree btw) I%26#039;m a democrap, libertard, or that Clinton cheated on his wife and lied about it.

Look at it this way, conservatives hate liberals and vice versa. If you ask me that is what the government wants, they want people of different political parties at each others throats so that we won%26#039;t notice it when they pass crazy legislation that neither one of those two parties would want to happen to begin with. If you ask me the people need to get on the same wavelength, because it seems to me that the governments plan is working we are all against each other and that is what they want in Washington. The American people need to unite to get this country straight again, we need to put our differences aside and work to make this country what we loved about it originally.

Everything you said applies to the neoconservatives not to real liberals or progressives. You have done the typical neoconservative act of turning everything around that you do and blame someone else. Typical hypocrisy of your kind. I am a progressive but don%26#039;t pin that on all conservatives. Real Conservatives such as William Buckley have my great respect. But you probably don%26#039;t even know who he is. He does not go around blaming others who disagree with him for everything the way you do. He simply but eloquently states his premises and backs them. up. He is a gentleman..something the new conservatives don%26#039;t know how to do.
Surprisingly I have seen this as a habbit of both ends on the political spectrum. Not only have I come across many liberals like this when I was a conservative, I have also come across plenty of conservatives when I was a liberal.
I grew so sick of both parties I%26#039;ve become a moderate who%26#039;s now a registered independant. Every time I peek into the childish battle field of the politics answering section all I see are insults flying back and forth between liberals and conservatives and I rarely see a decent point, question, or argument made by either of the two. If conservatives would stop exagerating their attacks on the lack of courge to fight and liberals would stop blowing funny phrases out of proportion the two of you could actually sit down and settle things.
Charchter attacks only appeal the atackers and attract those who can%26#039;t think well enough on their own. In a nutshell, liberals are afraid of themselves and the things they do.
Example: when liberals use personal insults, they are expressing how they feel about themselves. The same as when hclinton spews fear about the %26#039;vast right wing conspiracy%26#039;, she is only admitting her membership in the %26quot;vast left wing conspiracy%26quot;, but she thinks she is directing attention away from herself.
