You'll probably find it easier to find great sources for global warming than for influences of the internet, since so many people seem to either passionately believe in global warming right now or laugh it off altogether. Check your local library tomorrow. For your paper, try to have as many sources from books as possible. Use sources you find online, particularly from .org sites (instead of .com sites), just don't rely on internet sources completely for your paper. Try to combine both online sources as well as book sources.

Some links to help you get started:

http://www.nrdc.org/globalWarming/

On the above site, click on %26quot;global warming basics%26quot; first to give you an intro.

Wikipedia has a good page too, but it's best not to cite Wikipedia because lots of teachers and professors don't approve of it as a source. So if you find something there you'd like to use for your paper, click on the link cited on the page and go to that page directly. Also, on the wikipedia page, to get you started finding information on those who don't believe that the planet is in trouble, click on %26quot;Social and Political Debate%26quot; under %26quot;contents%26quot;. There, you'll find a paragraph of information that includes links, plus links to other wikipedia pages on the issue.

Here's the wikipedia page:
