For my final paper in a theatre history course, I am hoping to write about the history of stage managers. However, it appears that very little exists on this subject. Do you know of any books or websites that have legitimate backup in the form of books (i.e. encyclopedias) that could hold some of this information?
I am beginning to think this is an impossible task! Perhaps I should change my topic...
